This is my personal marque in progress. For those of you who dont know what I'm talking about (i.e. almost everyone) a marque is a tattoo that covers the back, marking one as a courtesan. This concept comes from Jacqueline Carey, author of Kushiel's Trilogy. Read. Her. Books. Now.
Note: I am not a courtesan, I just like Jacqueline Carey's work and tattoos. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. yah, the books that i took the idea from arent too widespread, but they have quite the cult following.
Because Phedre wasn't the only one with a marque. Just the only one with her specific one.
'Cause it said in the 3rd book that they had voted no one could copy her marque. And, the guy who interpreted her dream in the 2nd book, had a marque.
o.o;
Of course, that could be because he was Naamah's servant.
I think I'm just ranting, or ranting and confused.
